Denver's 7 was the first station in town to broadcast in HDTV. We are currently broadcasting in HDTV on Channel 17, but the reception is limited to those whose antennas are within a line-of-sight of our antenna -- which currently sits on top of Republic Plaza.

However, several TV stations are working to construct a 730-foot tower on Lookout Mountain. When that project is complete, HDTV coverage of our station and all of the local stations should be widespread.

We hope to complete that project in 2008.
