A 15-year-old pleaded guilty Monday to conspiracy to commit
first-degree assault and was sentenced to up to two years in the
Department of Youth Corrections. After he is released from custody, he will face two years of probation.
The teen was one of three youths from Preston Junior High who were accused of threatening a bloody attack on their school.
Two other students, aged 15 and 16, pleaded guilty earlier to conspiracy to commit first-degree assault and were sentenced to probation and community service.
The teens were arrested last February after four girls told police that the boys had plans to attack the school with firearms, shooting students and blowing up a propane tank.
