Witnesses subsequently see Eric Harris entering the east section of the library (near table #3) from a pathway between the bookshelves. Dylan Klebold subsequently moves west of table #3 near where Eric Harris is standing, after which one of the suspects looks under that same table and states, "pathetic."

Witnesses next describe both Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold moving to the south of table #5, where it is reported that they begin reloading. It is during this time frame that one of the suspects begins taunting Valeen Schnurr regarding her belief in God.

Eric Harris is next seen stepping east towards table #6 and pointing the pump-action shotgun under that table, firing twice (pellets), and hitting both Nicole Nowlen and John Tomlin. At approximately the same time, Dylan Klebold moves south/east past table #6, standing near John Tomlin (now lying on the east side of table #6) where he then shoots the forenamed four times with the Tech 9.

Eric Harris is next seen moving northeast of table #6, where he shoots Kelly Fleming once with a pump-action shotgun (pellets). Once Eric Harris has repositioned himself to the east side of table #4, he then again fires the pump-action shotgun under table #2, hitting Lauren Townsend, Jeanna Park and Lisa Kreutz with pellets. Eric Harris subsequently walks to the south library windows and begins damaging the blinds as he looks out into the south parking lot and comments about the police.

Witnesses report that Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold then passed through the east side bookshelves in the center section, where another reloading process took place at table #13. During that time, Eric Harris was seen walking north through the center section to the south computer table, where he gained access to the blue backpack that reportedly contained ammunition. Eric Harris then returned to an area near table #11. While at that location, Eric Harris asked a student under table #11 to identify himself. The student identified himself as John Savage. Eric Harris then moved north of table #11 as Dylan Klebold made contact with John Savage. Dylan Klebold eventually told John Savage to leave the library, which he does.

While standing north of table #11, Eric Harris then shot Daniel Mauser twice (who was located under table #9) with a high-point carbine rifle.

Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold then moved south in the library towards table #14. Dylan Klebold then begins firing under table #14 with his Tech 9, hitting Corey DePooter. Eric Harris then begins firing with the high-point carbine rifle under the same table, hitting Corey DePooter and Jennifer Doyle. (Note: A fourth 9 mm. round was fired under table #14, hitting Austin Eubanks. The origin of that round cannot be determined.)

Witnesses reported that Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris then moved north in the center section of the library and are seen together as they pass by the east side of table #7. Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris then proceed to the southeast corner of the far south computer table. Eric Harris is then seen throwing a device with an orange liquid (southerly direction), in the west section of the library. There was no sound associated with that device being thrown.

Witnesses reported that Dylan Klebold then walked around behind the main counter from the west, while Eric Harris walked around the counter from the east. At that point, Dylan Klebold confronts and threatens Evan Todd, who is now hiding behind the main counter. The investigation revealed that Dylan Klebold turned away from Evan Todd and fired a 9 mm. round back into the "kitchen" area of the library, striking a television. Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris next discussed leaving the library and going to the "commons." Prior to leaving the library, Dylan Klebold slams a chair down on a computer terminal (located on the main counter). Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris subsequently leave the library at approximately 1139 hours. (Note: From the point when the suspects entered the library until the time they left was approximately 7 1/2 minutes.)

Most victims and witnesses begin to leave the library, exiting out the north door. A short time later, Patricia Nielsen crawls into the break room ("kitchen") and hides in a cupboard. Carol Weld and Lois Keen remain hidden in the television studio. Peggy Dodd was hiding in the periodicals room. All the above named remained in the library until they were evacuated by SWAT. Note: John Ireland laid near table #15 seriously injured, and later climbed out a west window. Lisa Kreutz laid seriously injured under table #2, and was evacuated by SWAT.

Team V did not conduct an investigation related to the suspects' activities after leaving the library. Additionally, Team V did not conduct any investigation into the deaths of Eric Harris or Dylan Klebold.
