Media reports of a "fire" in Rocky Mountain National Park Thursday prompted concern and worried calls to the Park.
However, a spokeswoman for Rocky Mountain National Park said the fire was above timberline on a ridge and was about 1/10 of an acre. Kyle Patterson said that there were no structures close to the fire, which was believed to be lightning-caused.
The park service said the park would remain open.
