Juveniles Charged For Bear Lake Fire
Jan. 1 Blaze Occurred Inside Rocky Mountain National Park

Three juveniles believed to be responsible for setting fires at Rocky Mountain National Park earlier in the year were charged with felony arson on Tuesday, park officials said.
Two of the suspects were from Estes Park, Colo., and a third juvenile male was from Kansas. Because of their age, their names are not being released.
The Jan. 1 blaze destroyed two buildings at Bear Lake, causing about $600,000 in damage. One of those building housed restrooms and a visitor kiosk at the lake, about 10 miles from the park entrance near Estes Park.
All three boys were charged with first-degree arson and/or second-degree burglary. They face a sentence of up to 12 years in jail.
