BOULDER -- A 44-year-old Boulder chiropractor faces charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a patient during a treatment session last year.
Matt Titchenal (pictured, left) was being held in the Boulder County Jail Wednesday on charges of sexual assault and false imprisonment, police said.
A 38-year-old woman told police on Nov. 5 that she was sexually assaulted in Titchenal's office during her treatment.
She said that she was laying nude on a table with a sheet covering her, waiting for a massage. The victim told police that Titchenal pulled down the sheet covering her and inappropriately touched her with his tongue.
Investigators filed charges against Titchenal Wednesday after the woman returned to his office with a hidden police-issued wireless listening device.
Police said that they are concerned that there may be other victims.
Anyone with information about the case or about Titchenal was asked to call Detective Harmer at (303) 441-3381, or to remain anonymous call Boulder County Crime Stoppers at (303) 440-STOP and you may be eligible for a reward.
