The Salvation Army is collecting several items for firefighters working on the front lines. Sports drinks, power bars, lip balm, bandanas, sunscreen, goggles, eye drops, socks, foot powder, boot insoles, pillows, deodorant, antacids, painkillers, flashlights, chewing gum, and heavy work gloves are needed.

Colorado State Vet Dr. John Maulsby is heading a national effort to bring animal feed and supplies into the area. The veterinarian is organizing supplies for the Jefferson County, Douglas County, and Pueblo Fairgrounds.
