The 24/7 Weather Custom Forecast is a personalized Web page that is powerful enough to generate an hour-by-hour forecast for your specific location. We actually use your address to design a specific forecast for exactly where and when you need it. You'll have access to data from the same advanced computer model that we use to prepare our on-air forecasts.

We are working on several new improvements on this product along with our new line graph display.  We hope to make the program even more user friendly, but we are still offering the original version that many of our users are more familiar.

The temperature graph on our new display is designed to show the weather conditions expected during the next 48 hours in an easy to understand fashion.  If you mouse over each hour, a simple click will give you more specific weather information, including a text description similar to the original Custom Forecast.

The forecast will initially show a default to the Denver area, but you can customize the forecast for your area by simply logging in and typing in your location.  You can also search any location by clicking the magnifying glass icon and using the map.  You may save up to four locations permanently for easy and fast access. 

You can set the forecast display to default to your location when you log in for the first time.  It will remember this in the future, so you will always get your local forecast.  We are working on the skyline display so that in the future, it will change from the Denver view to a scene from other cities, or be customizable!

It is very easy to use, simply type in the location that you need a forecast.  You can then choose your parameters - snow, rain, wind, accumulating precipitation, highs and lows!  You can also choose between a 48 hour forecast or a 7 Day Forecast for any location across the nation!

Here is a little background about our FutureCast. The FutureCast forecasts are generated by a special high resolution computer model that takes all of the topography of the states into the data base. We are continuing to work with the programmers on tweaking the model and your input can be very useful!

We are about to test some new modeling software that will dramatically increase the precision of the FutureCast custom forecast products!  By using much smaller gridpoints, we will be able to really fine tune the forecast for temperature and precipitation -- especially in the mountains!

As we move forward, user feedback is very important to our programmers and we can use to continue to improve the FutureCast model.

We can alert you by e-mail or on your mobile device when severe weather is threatening your area. A downloadable desktop weather icon is also available that shows current weather conditions, warnings and radar!
