Balsamic-Shallot Marinade Serves 1 1/2 Cups
Spicy Grilled Onion Relish
Serves 2 1/2 cups
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped shallots 1 tablespoon coarsely chopped fresh sage 1 tablespoon coarsely chopped fresh rosemary 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper 1 cup olive oil
Serves 2 1/2 cups
- 2 pounds Spanish onions, sliced crosswise 1/2 inch thick 1/4 cup olive oil 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar 2 tablespoons light brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper Salt and freshly ground black pepper
