Jack Daniels Tailgate Recipes
To celebrate the Broncos and Raiders on Monday Night Football, Lynne Tolley, great great niece of Jack Daniels and official taster at his distillery, recommends the following dishes
Uncle Jack's Red Dogs
2 Cups ketchup
1/3 Cup light brown sugar
1/4 Cup Jack Daniel's Old No. 7
1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Mix all ingredients in saucepan until hot; serve with cocktail smokies. Jack's Football Fondue 1 Pound semi-sweet chocolate chips or coarsely chopped squares
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup Jack Daniels Old No. 7
Bring cream to a boil. Stir in chocolate until melted and smooth; remove from heat. Stir in Jack Daniels. Serve warm and with fresh fruit or pound cake cut into cubes. Makes about 4 cups.
