Jan 10: Graham Cracker Fried Goat Cheese With Berry Compote

A Tasty Combination Of Goat Cheese And Fruit

2 oz Goat Cheese
¼ cup raspberries
¼ cup strawberries
¼ cup blueberries
1 tbl. honey
1 tbl. balsamic reduction
1 tbl. butter
2 graham crackers crumbled


Form goat cheese in to small patties. Coat with graham crackers. Heat butter in non-stick pan, brown goat cheese on each side for a minute.
In a small sauce pan, heat fruit and sugar. Cook for about 4 minuets.
Place fried goat cheese on plate, spoon berry mixture over the goat cheese. Drizzle with balsamic reduction.


Balsamic Reduction
1 cup balsamic vinegar
1 small piece cinnamon


In a small pot, place cinnamon and balsamic vinegar. Simmer on low heat until a syrup has formed. About 5-8 minutes.
