Quiche Lorraine

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Cook 8 slices of bacon, remove, chop and reserve. Drain all but 1-2 TBS of the drippings, add 1/2 chopped onion and saute until tender. Whisk together 4 beaten eggs, 1 cup half and half, 1 cup milk, 1 TBS flour, 1/2 tsp. salt and dash of ground nutmeg.

Stir in crumbled bacon, onion and 1.5 cups shredded Swiss cheese and mix well. Pour into a prepared piecrust and bake in a 325-degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let rest 10 minutes before serving. Serves 6.
