Air Force Academy, CO -- (Sports Network) - Will Figures made a pair of free throws with 5.1 ticks left to secure a 66-62 win for the Northern Colorado Bears over the Texas Southern Tigers as part of the Reggie Minton Air Force Classic.

Devon Beitzel tallied 17 points for the Bears (4-0), who are 4-0 for the first time since 1984 and will meet either host Air Force or Dickinson State in the finals on Saturday. Taylor Montgomery posted a season-high 13 points and Mike Proctor added 10.

Travele Jones scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Tigers (1-3), while Deandre Hall had 16 in the loss.

UNC ended the first half with a 10-6 spurt, taking a 35-25 lead to the break.

The Bears scored 10 of their final 14 points at the foul line to seal the four-point win.

UNC was effective at the charity stripe, going 22-of-31 on the night.
