NCAA Game Summary - South Alabama At Tulsa

(Sports Network) - Jerome Jordan poured in a game-high 23 points and ripped down nine caroms, as the Tulsa Golden Hurricane breezed past the South Alabama Jaguars, 84-62, in non-conference play at the Reynolds Center.

Justin Hurtt also had a big game for the Hurricane (4-0), tallying 21 points on 3-of-6 shooting from long range and 8-of-9 at the foul line. Steven Idlet added a double-double of 10 points and 13 rebounds, and Donte Medder finished with 10 points as well.

Tim Williams led the way for USA (3-2) with 17 points and three steals. Gary Redus also reached double figures, posting 11 points off the bench.

Tulsa broke a 23-23 tie with a 12-0 run and it carried a 42-29 lead to the intermission.

The Hurricane dropped in 18 free throws in the second stanza and walked away with 22-point win.

Tulsa had a big day at the foul line, where it went 38-of-50 compared to just a 7-of-20 showing by the Jaguars.
