NCAA Game Summary - Texas Southern Vs. Dickinson State

Colorado Springs, CO -- (Sports Network) - Deandre Hall posted a game-high 21 points to lead the Texas Southern Tigers to a 77-65 victory over the Dickinson State Blue Hawks in the consolation round of the Reggie Minton Air Force Classic at Clune Arena. The duo of Aaron Clayborn and Travele Jones added 13 points apiece in the win for Texas Southern (2-6). Nate Lebsock scored 16 points to lead the way for Dickinson State (1-4), while Josh Henry added 14 points in the losing effort. Nate Williams finished with 12 points for the Blue Hawks, while Curtis Ashe chipped in 10 points. The Tigers shot at a blistering 66.7 percent clip from the floor during the opening stanza and took a 48-32 lead into the break. In the second half, the Blue Hawks managed to convert 46.4 percent of their attempts from the floor, but a 7-for-7 effort at the charity stripe from the Tigers kept the game out of reach. The Blue Hawks connected on just 3-of-12 from long range in the loss.
