Flagstaff, AZ -- (Sports Network) - Sylvester Seay scored 22 points to lead the Fresno State Bulldogs to a 65-59 victory over the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks in a matchup for the West Coast Classic, which took place at the Walkup Skydome.

Paul George added 15 points for Fresno State (2-0) and also collected 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals in the win.

Cameron Jones netted 23 points for NAU (1-2), while Gabe Rogers and Eric Platt contributed 13 and 10 points, respectively, in the loss.

The Bulldogs shot 50.0 percent from the field in the first half and went into the break with a slim, 36-35 lead.

Fresno State used a tenacious defensive approach in the second stanza, holding the Lumberjacks to mere 29.2 percent shooting effort, en route to the six- point win.
