NCAA Game Summary - Boise State At Montana

(Sports Network) - Anthony Johnson scored 25 points and dished out five assists to lead the Montana Grizzlies to a 95-82 victory over the Boise State Broncos as part of the Grizzly Basketball Classic at Dahlberg Arena.

Raason Young added 22 points for Montana (2-0), while Jack McGillis tallied 15 points to go along with seven rebounds. Brian Qvale contributed 12 points and eight boards in the win, while Ryan Staudacher posted 11 points.

Ike Okoye paced Boise State (1-1) in the loss with 20 points and nine rebounds, while La'Shard Anderson and Kurt Cunningham chipped in 16 and 13 points, respectively.

The Grizzlies went into the break with a 52-42 lead after shooting a sizzling 62.5 percent from the field in the first half and that included an impressive 8-of-11 clip from behind the arc.

In the second stanza Montana used its defense to keep Boise State at bay, as the Grizzlies limited the Broncos to a mere 37.5 percent shooting effort en route to the 13-point victory.

Montana made 12-of-20 attempts from long range in the contest, while Boise State connected on just 2-of-10 shots from behind the arc.
