NCAA Game Summary - Colorado State At San Diego State

San Diego, CA -- (Sports Network) - Kyle Spain registered a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds as the San Diego State Aztecs recorded a 68-59 win over the Colorado State Rams in Mountain West Conference action at Cox Arena. Also scoring in double figures for the Aztecs (20-8, 10-5 MWC), as they won their second in a row, were Ryan Amoroso and Tim Shelton with 14 points apiece, followed by Lorrenzo Wade with 10 points, six assists, five boards and three steals. The Rams (9-21, 4-12), losers of three straight and six of the last seven to close out the regular season, were paced by Marcus Walker with a game-high 24 points, followed by Willis Gardner with 11 points. SDSU shot only 2-of-7 behind the three-point line in the first half, but the squad still finished up at 53.1 percent overall from the floor to claim a 36-33 lead at the break. In the second half CSU dropped all the way down to just 23.3 percent from the field and 2-of-13 out on the perimeter, as the visitors suffered the nine- point setback.
