Charleston, IL -- (Sports Network) - Bobby Catchings scored 16 points to lead the Eastern Illinois Panthers to a 73-59 win over the Jacksonville State Gamecocks in Ohio Valley Conference action from Lantz Arena.

Jake Byrne tallied 14 points for EIU (7-16, 3-11 OVC), which has now won two straight after an eight-game skid. Romain Martin notched 12 points, while Justin Brock came off the bench to score 11. Ousmane Cisse collected 11 rebounds to go along with his eight points.

Harold Crow led all scorers with 24 points for the Gamecocks (6-17, 4-10), while Courtney Bradley scored 12.

EIU shot 44.8 percent from the floor in the first half to take a 28-27 halftime lead.

The Panthers shot 59.3 percent from the floor in the second stanza, as they rolled to the 14-point win.

JSU received just five points from its bench in the game.
