Puerto Rico: Cash For Appliances Rebate Program

Puerto Rico's rebate program designed to help residents replace older, inefficient appliances with Energy Star-qualified models is now closed.
The program, conducted by the Puerto Rico Energy Affairs Administration with funding from federal stimulus dollars, offered vouchers for consumers to redeem at participating retailers.
The program began Feb. 24 with vouchers valid for 30 days. Voucher distribution closed on April 16. If funds remain, an additional round will begin later in the summer of 2010 until funds are depleted.
