DENVER - On Saturday, January 30, Denver7 will host one of the largest wellness-focused gatherings in Denver. The New Year New You Expo, presented by Colorado State University-Global Campus will offer an entire day of health and overall wellness support for the community at Colorado Mills from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Health, beauty, finance and education specialists will help guide attendees to their best self in 2016.
"Colorado is filled with ambitious people looking to make positive changes in their lives and we wanted to create a place for people to find support. The expo is really focused on providing resources to help people accomplish their goals, which contributes to the overall well-being of our state," said Denver7 vice president and general manager, Brad Remington.
Presenting sponsor CSU-Global will be on hand to discuss how earning a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or certificate of completion could make an impact in people’s lives this year. The online state university is designed to help working adults continue their education without putting other life obligations on hold.
Expo goers can also receive a “7-Minute Makeover” with customized hair, make-up and fashion tips as well as free food samples from Honey Smoked Fish Company. Colorado Mills will be filled with local experts to help arm Coloradans with self-improvement tools to accomplish their new year's resolutions.
“The beginning of the year is the perfect time to explore new opportunities from style to wellness,” said Kimra Perkins, general manager at Colorado Mills. “ As we design a shopping experience that embodies the dynamic lifestyles of Coloradans, our unique mix of stores and restaurants and impressive value retail is what makes Colorado Mills our state’s ultimate destination for this year’s New Year New You Expo.”
