"Irving Berlin’s White Christmas"

What: Get in the holiday spirit with the classic movie tale about romance, friendship, music and snow. Famous songs include “Blue Skies,” “I Love a Piano” and the most-recorded tune in history,“White Christmas.

Where: The Buell Theatre, Speer Blvd. and Arapahoe St., Denver

What: Join in a musical celebration of the things we do each Christmas that enrich our family holiday traditions.

Where: The Butterfly Pavilion, 6252 W. 104th Ave., Westminster, Colo.

Under the Mistletoe Candlelight  Christmas Tour

What: Enjoy the holiday traditions of Molly’s time gone by with a special Christmas tour of the museum along with special holiday performances and treats.

Where: Molly Brown House Museum, 1340 Pennsylvania St., Denver

When: 

Friday and Saturday: 6 p.m., 7 p.m.

"Scrooge, the Stingiest Man in Town"

What: See the Peanut Butter Players' presentation of the telling of the classic Dickens story with a charming musical score and the message of brotherhood.

Where: Harlequin Center for the Performing Arts, 990 Public Rd., Lafayette, Colo.

Vail’s 50th Birthday Celebration

What: Play with the Brass. Receive your very own music book in advance along with tips and fingering charts. Then play in the big performance. If you don't play, listen to the concert at 1 p.m.

Where: Mountain Plaza in Vail Village, Vail, Colo.

When: 

Saturday: 5:30 p.m.

How I Became A Pirate Day

What: Dress like a pirate, talk like a pirate and make pirate hats in honor of "How I Became A Pirate." Along with the play, do activity sheets and get "official" pirate temporary tattoos.

Where: Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada, Colo.

When: 

Saturday: 11 a.m., 1 p.m.

Christmas with the Children’s Chorale 

What: Enjoy sacred Christmas traditions and beloved holiday favorites, performed with song and dance. There may even be a visitor from the North Pole.
