UNDY 5000: a "brief" run to fight colon cancer

The "UNDY 5000" is a 5K walk/run and a Kids one mile fun run to raise awareness about the importance of getting screened for Colorectal Cancer
Participants receive a pair of boxer shorts instead of a t-shirt to bring a bit of humor to a very serious topic. 
Colorectal Cancer is the #2 cause of cancer death in the U.S. It is 90% preventable when treated early.  You can reduce your risk of Colorectal Cancer through regular screening.
Who should get screened?
  • Everyone age 50 years+
  • Anyone age 40yrs + with a family history of colorectal cancer or polyps
  • 10 years prior to the age of the youngest first degree relative at diagnosis
  • Anyone with a change in bowel habits, rectal bleeding, a history of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), or other Gastrointestinal (GI) complaints
