Lindsey Sablan is excited to add Denver, Colorado to the list of places she's explored. Growing up in a Navy family, Lindsey has lived all over the world, including  nine states in the U.S., Guam, England, and Sweden.

Lindsey became an "official" member of the 7NEWS team in February 2013, after freelancing with the station since June of 2012. During her first few months, she covered several tragic stories including the aftermath of the High Park fire, the Aurora Theater shooting, and the disappearance and murder of 10 year old Jessica Ridgeway. While she understands the importance of these critical stories, she's glad for herself and the community when she can focus on the beautiful side of Colorado and its people.

Lindsey graduated with a BA in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri's School of Journalism. She reported and anchored for the NBC affiliate in Columbia, Missouri. She also worked with the NBC bureau in London, assisting in production for the "Today" show and "CNBC." From there, Lindsey moved to South Bend, IN where she started as a reporter and then anchored the three hour weekday morning show for the Fox affiliate.

An "island-girl" at heart, Lindsey is having a blast enjoying the outdoors and trying winter sports. She's spent her first Colorado winter on the slopes with her snowboard, mostly falling, but loving it nonetheless. She loves exploring the mountains either on a snowboard, on a bike or on foot. Last summer she participated in her first sprint-triathlon in Boulder, and hopes to complete a full triathlon soon.
