Adam is an Emmy nominated anchor/reporter for Denver 7. You can catch him from 4-5 on The NOW, and other evening newscasts. Adam is married to Lauren, and they enjoy spending time with their daughter.

Before moving to Denver Adam was a morning anchor for WREG in Memphis, Tennessee. In 2013 Adam worked with lawmakers in Mississippi to create the Andrew Loyd Law in memory of an 11-year-old boy Adam covered as a reporter. An investigation spearheaded by Adam revealed Andrew was negligently and inappropriately left in the care of his mentally ill father who took his life. The Andrew Loyd Law now protects millions of children in Mississippi by adding another layer of protection when a parent or guardian is treated for mental health issues. Countless children could be saved by this work dedicated to honoring the legacy of a child who continues to have an impact on Adam and the entire community.

Veteran’s issues are also very important to Adam.  He spent time on the board of directors for Alpha Omega Veterans Services and continues to support their mission to provide housing, food, counseling and rehabilitative services for homeless veterans. More than 10,000 homeless veterans have been successfully served by AOVS.

Adam works with students to teach them about media platforms and communications. In 2010 he was honored by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators for outstanding coverage of educational issues.

Adam started his career as an anchor and reporter for WGXA in Macon, Georgia. While he was at WGXA Adam specialized in legal and political reporting. He also hosted a nightly call in show where he would interview guests on a variety of topics and took live questions on the air. (His favorite shows involved animals and food!)

Adam attended Georgia College and graduated with degrees in Political Science and Mass Communication. He also studied European Politics in Nice, France.

Adam enjoys being a journalist because it gives him an opportunity to explore with viewers the world they live in and how we can all make a difference in it. He also enjoys meeting viewers and being a part of community events!
