"I love my job for a number of reasons. I’ve been a news hound since the tender age of 10, and it seems my fascination with this business only grows stronger as I grow older. I have a passion for writing, and I enjoy the thrill of daily deadline pressure. It's a big responsibility to gather a great deal of information and craft a story that grabs your attention with clarity, style and fairness."

"If you ever have a story idea, don't hesitate to write me at Russell_Haythorn@TheDenverChannel.com. I'm always interested in your ideas."
