Theresa Marchetta is the Weekend Anchor for 7NEWS, and works as a Call 7 Investigator, specializing in consumer stories, during the week.

Theresa is originally from Southern California and started her TV news career in Yuma, Ariz.

After one year in Arizona, she moved on to work for the CBS affiliate in Green Bay, Wisconsin for 10 months then spent almost six years in Miami before coming to Denver as an anchor for the CBS affiliate six years ago.

Theresa then worked as an anchor and reporter for almost six years in Miami before coming to Denver as an anchor for the CBS affiliate. Theresa has been with 7NEWS since 2003.

Since moving to Denver, Theresa has been awarded the Emmy for Best News Anchor and also been named Best Anchor in Westword and 5280 Magazine. She has also received the Arizona Associated Press Award.

Theresa has been recognized for her community involvement and volunteer work, including awards from The American Red Cross and The Donor Awareness Council.

On June 3, 2007, Theresa was awarded a Primo Award, which honors the best in Colorado's Italian American Community.

Theresa is a two-time cancer survivor and volunteers for various cancer causes. She is especially passionate about fundraising work for a Gilda's Club in Denver and Hospice of Metro Denver.

Theresa is also on the Stroke Advisory Board for the Colorado Neurological Institute and has been a member of the Mothers of Multiples Society.

Theresa is most proud of being a mother to her three beautiful daughters. Theresa, her husband and children live in Highlands Ranch.
