DENVER -- When you’re facing cancer, family and friends can provide great support. Keeping in touch with everyone can be exhausting for the patient, but this week’s 7Everyday Hero, Marcia Donziger, knows from experience how best to keep everyone connected.Stephanie West was diagnosed with Hogdkin’s Lymphoma last fall. She uses “My Lifeline”, a website that allows her and hundreds of other cancer patients to keep in touch with everyone concerned without feeling guilty about or being overwhelmed with staying connected.Marcia Donziger created “My Lifeline”. It offers free, customized web sites for cancer patients, survivors and their caregivers. Lifeline sets up a home base on the internet, saying here is where I’m going to update people.
Marcia is a cancer survivor who has made it her mission to reach out to other cancer patients. She says her life has changed for the better because of her experience dealing with cancer.
