COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A Colorado Springs couple has been arrested after police say the husband and wife each brandished a gun and fired shots at an apartment complex.

On Monday morning, patrol officers were called to an apartment complex in the area of Galley Road and Reinhardt Drive on a report of shots being fired.

Officers learned a woman had arrived outside the apartment, brandished a handgun and fired it. Then, the woman’s husband came out of the apartment, brandished a gun and began firing it as well, according to police. He also threatened an individual who wasn’t involved in the gunplay.

The man and woman then fled the scene in different directions.

Police tracked down and arrested the couple Wednesday on felony warrants. James Tindal is being held on attempted first-degree assault and felony menacing charges at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center. Carissa Tindal being held on felony menacing charges.
